Part 5, june 17th, 2017:
We can now assemble the second stair. Please take notice that some parts for the second stair mutually otherwise must be assembled and that the bottom wide stair step only belongs to the first stair.
In the picture all the parts for the second stage.
For the stairs from the first to the second floor, the triangle slat must be glued at the top of the stairs curve (step 23). later on the stairs will be glued on it. The stairs end post can be glued in the same way on the stairs bend (step 23). Let this part dry for at least 45 minutes.
The stair rods are glued on the steps of the straight stair part in the same manner. Line the stair rods out on the middle of the end post on the stairs curve, which comes at the bottom of the stairs.
The stair gate for the second floor can also be assembled (step 29 and 30). They come at a right angle. Take care that the longest fence comes at the correct side.
Let this construction also dry for 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, the glued parts of the second stair will have dried enough and we start to put together the second stair. This shall we do in the same way as the first stair, only the stairs curve, as previously stated comes at the bottom of the stairs and not at the top.
We will not, as it says in the manual, place the separate parts apart. First we assemble the whole staircase and fit this later from above in the stairway opening.
The stair is glued on the triangle slat at the top of the stairs bend.
Glue the railing on the stair rods and to the middle of the lower end post. Let it dry for an hour.
The upper end post for this staircase will be glued at the top of the stairs on the floor of the second floor panel, near the stair fence. Please note with the laying of floor coverings. This can best be done after the staircase is placed definitly with glue and (possibly) floor covering is laid.
We let these components not glued, so that the staircase and to the walls can be finished.
We continue with the chimneys. They can easily be glued together (step 31).
Wait with gluing the chimneys on the roof, till the roof panel with the hinges is screwed on the roof part, then you can place the chimneys, taking into account the turn of the roof panel when it is opened.
See next in part 2.
